Food Lesson #1....It doesn't matter how cold it is outside, if you have yummy food to keep you company, everyone still has a blast!

The kids and I were invited to another one of Jenni's amazing parties this last weekend.  She really out does herself and i think she must start planning for these things weeks and weeks ahead of time.  Jen, you should seriously go into business because these parties are just adorable!

 The goodie bags

 S'mores cupcakes!

Madelyn, too adorable in that hat and pea coat!  I love it!

Rod let Immanuel help cook the hot dogs, which Iman was really excited about and did a fantastic job with!  Thanks Rod!

Bubbles!  Jack was so excited as this was his first time successfully blowing them instead of eating them!

Katie with her corn on the cob!

The smile on Sarah's face was at the joy of discovering that being next to the grill meant instant warmth!

 Ellis Sowby, too cute!

See there's Jack with yet another marshmallow on a stick!  lol!

Lucky for us it was one of Jenni's parties as it was also outside and the weather decided to be perfectly winter like (minus the snow).  The yummy treats outweighed any thoughts of leaving early to escape to warmer weather.  It was quite comical to me really that those that didn't have the foresight to bring gloves etc. (like me who thought the shinning sun would warm up the day) and had blue lips and purple hands (this was Jack, who also refused to wear the extra scarves Jen provided) seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves anyway!  It really was a great morning and the hot dogs and chilli was a big hit and went along perfectly.  Jack loaded up on marshmallows and i found that the minute he was done with one treat he came up to me asking permission for another.

Thanks again for a great party Jen, the kids and I had a great time.  Happy Birthday again to Tre and Maddox!  What a great and dedicated Moma you are!  :-)
